At RexandtheBeast.com we look forward to sharing our theme park journeys with you.

So, we invite you to Join the Journey! here at RexandtheBeast.com.

First, a little background. We (Rex and the Beast) are  brothers, and have spent many years visiting Theme, Thrill and Amusement Parks both separately and together.  After taking many trips to Orlando, Los Angeles and other locales in the last few years, we decided that we have so much fun during our various trips, that it would be fun to put together this website to allow you to Join the Journey! and participate in our adventures, read our musings over the issues of the day (in our Blog), and peruse other general park info we have on our site.

One important point we want to make is that we expect to grow and expand with you rather than simply listing information about all of the trips we have made in the past. Of course, some old pictures, articles and videos are on the site (and past trip information will be added to the site every now and then), but we are looking at this as the
beginning of a journey together, which is what will make this fun!

One of the highlights of our site is our videos.  In addition to trip videos, we also make short movies.  See Mission:IOA and Mission:IOA2 Universal Revenge, movies we shot at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida over a couple of trips about a year ago. We think you will enjoy these short films, and they will certainly give you a good
idea of the personalities of Rex and the Beast.

Thanks for visiting, and we will talk to you soon.

Love the new blog

Hey guys, love the new blog. Phil, since it probably isn't worth the trip for Rex, you and I need to head up to Holiday World and ride The Voyage (if you haven't yet). It has to be worth an hour and fifteen minute drive to see if it can knock The Beast off as my favorite wooden roller coaster. Of course, factoring in nostalgia and the enormous amount of my youth spent on The Beast, there really isn't much of a chance of beating it out.

Hi Danny

Danny,
Thanks for checking out the site, we hope to have some good interaction with you here. I have, in fact, ridden all three wooden coasters at Holiday World. It is just a great park. Rex and I have already talked about an extended weekend where we will officially hit Holiday World, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, and King's Island (now Cedar Fair, no longer Paramount). We would love to have you come up for one or all of those visits.

I have reviewed my coaster experience at Holiday World over at my personal blog, The Beast's Lair. Once Rex and I officially visit the park, I will write another blog here. In the meantime, click the link below to check out my review. Good to hear from ya!

Yo, MTV Raps

Daniel-San, good to have you drop by.  I agree with the Beast completely, lets try and have you come up for one of the trips to Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island,  and/or Holiday World.  We will let you know when we are scheduling those trips so you can try and join us.  Thanks for your comments, and keep checking in!
